When I purchased my 2016 Accord, my previous cellphone (HTC Desire) did everything I wanted when linked by bluetooth to the Accord. When a text message arrived, it would stop the radio play and give me the option to read the text myself, have it read out loud, and then give me options with prescribed answers while driving. As of last year, I bought a new phone, a motoG5, which will link by bluetooth to the car, but none of the above texting functions work. Only the phone will work for calls. It will display old text messages, but only the phone rings when a new text arrives. This completely negates the handsfree option that the car is supposed to perform. I did take it back to the dealer and we fiddled with the options and re-loaded the phone info and started the car several times, but to no avail. Any ideas?
