Hi guys and girls,
I am starting this thread here because I have a chinese market HTC E1 (603e) phone. There is virtually no none chinese development going on, so I had to flash a chinese languaged recovery to be able to root the phone and to be able to make nandroid backups. There is no RUU and custom roms are all poorly customized chinese spinoffs of the stock rom.
Needless to say that I have to do every modification very carefull and nandroid backup a lot along the way. I am very happy with the phone its a DSFA, 4.3" inch, removable battery, external sd card slot phone. Just exactly to my needs.
Ok so much for the intro, the recovery is in chinese like i said so I am in the process of making a full translation to be able to use it fully I will probably post some pics later on here.
When i make a nandroid backup I noticed that the data partition backup includes also the user data of the internal "sdcard". Meaning if i put 7 gigs of music on the internal storage, a nandroid backup will also back that up and i dont want that ofcourse. Can you edit these backup settings in the recovery?
If not I will simply not use the internal "sdcard" for my media if yes
the next quest wil be to find the chinese written option for that in the recovery I will get some pics up here soon of the concerning cwm menu.
