I would like to re-flash an Irulu tablet with the correct firmware, and I cannot see the screen.
I purchased an 9 inch Irulu Tablet, S/N: JX944FT1703171E#0135, running Kitkat .4.something.
I tried to update the firmware, but something has gone wrong (I may not have the correct file), and now I cannot see the screen well enough to be able to use it. I have tiny bars of colours and lines on either side of the screen, but the centre is black.
The device is unrooted (I was getting to that), does not have an HDMI port, and only has a microUSB port. My Win7 machine detects the device via USB as a media device.
I have tried to “factory reset” from the recovery screen, and “update via USB”, but I can’t see what the error messages are.
I cannot enable USB debugging. Pheonix Suit Flash Tool cannot find the device. From “CMD->Platform Tools->ADB devices”, I am getting the “adb server version (31) doesn't match this client (36)”.
I have contacted Irulu, and asked them to point me in the direction of the correct firmware file for my tablet, but I do not know how I will be able to flash it with being able to see the screen.
To anyone that replies to this:
Thank you for your time.
