It doesn't seem to matter what app we're in - we're typing away using GBoard, and suddenly (and unpredictably) we find ourselves in the Task Manager and accidentally swiping away apps (since we were in the middle of typing, i.e. swiping letters to get words).
Both my phone and my wife's have started doing this in the last few months. We both have Samsung Galaxy S7 on Verizon, non-rooted.
Now, I guess it is possible that we are accidentally hitting the Task Manager key in the lower left, but I tend to be a very precise typer (even on a phone), so I doubt it is that. Also, we haven't had this issue before at all - it only started a few months ago, and on both of our phones around the same time.
Could it be some Verizon software update that introduced a bug, or ... ?
Any thoughts on what we can do to avoid this from happening? It gets really frustrating.
