I installed Cyanogen Mod 7 (stable) onto my Nook Color recently, using CWM as the installer, and when I started it up, I linked my new Gingerbread tablet to my Google account. Almost everything works. However...
Every single time I open Google Play/Android Market (because I manually installed it with the .apk), it says "Server Error" and gives me that annoying little [retry] button (as though that's gonna fix the problem).
I've looked everywhere, and I can't find any answer other than "wait and hope the apocalypse doesn't get here first", so, I hoped you all might have an answer. It's really aggravating to have to sideload all of my apps.
Oddly enough, after messing around for awhile, I fixed my problem. I just decided to try a nightly build. The most recent (as of 20120312), combined with the Gapps zip from 20110828 worked perfectly. Actually, better than the tablet did back as a rooted NookColor in the days of AutoNooter.
