I need a new budget android phone, since my Motorola Razr MAXX died of old age (RIP old buddy).
But which one would be best for rooting and using custom ROM's, roughly around the price of $250 / €230 ? The cheaper the better..
By best for rooting and ROM's, I mean easy rooting, good software for it, a lot of developers, good documentation and loads of alternatives.
What i would think it needs... A physical keyboard would be nice unless the phone otherwise is perfect, a touchscreen, a capable camera (Don't care about megapixels it just needs to be decent.), durable design, good battery life and up2date hardware specs.
It's not to be used for games or anything demanding, just standard stuff, but i DO NOT want lag or delay browsing around and using it for regular things.
I was thinking of maybe a durable/protected smart touchscreen flip phone like the LG Wine Smart or Easy Smart. Or maybe a durable Samsung Galaxy Xcover 3. or CASIO G’zOne Commando even.
But honestly i have no idea what to buy in this price range, i'm used to high end phones but i've come to the conclusion that since i HATE using small phones and inefficient touchscreen keyboards i should just buy a cheap, durable, long battery life, non-touch keyboard pref phone.. Like an AK-47 of phones!
Thx in advance.
