Having trouble installing a rom and a recovery

I have Samsung galaxy Tab 4(SM-T230NU). Specs

CPU: Quad-Core, 1.2GHz
Display: TFT, 1280 x 800 (WXGA)
Resolution: CMOS 3.0 MP
I am onl 14 years old and have a tablet which i want to install a custom rom on. I tried all the methods but nothing is working

I recentley downloaded king root( 5.3.0 )from their official website and installed the application on my tablet. Everything went well, but when the percentage reached 71 I believe the app said root failed and I requested it but nothing really happened I tried it again and again and nothing happened.
TWRP(I don’t know if it’s a .tar file)
Then I went to Odin's website and downloaded Odin(version 3.10.6) and also downloaded Team Win Recovery Project(TWRP) Version 3.1.1-0 .I don’t know if it’s a ".tar file". But the file name is TWRP 3.1.1-0-degas.img
I turned on download mode (Power button-Volume Down(-)-Home Key), connected my USB cable to the PC and turned on Odin and flashed it using ODIN. The tablet said downloading and rebooted.
• When I pressed Volume up(+) Home and Power Button, it brought up android recovery but there was no twrp.
Since my tablet does not show the OEM Unlock option I enabled USB debugging and tried it again then also it didn't work.
Then I read another forum on Xda which stated that I must install a .tar file on the tablet using odin and that also did not work for me
The link for the recovery.tar file

Rooting does not work and a recovery cannot be installed now what will I do......
