My phone recently started acting up by constantly shutting down after only being on for a few minutes, and the battery draining rapidly. I also noticed that it was unable to connect to WiFi and Bluetooth. After finding no success from doing a factory reset, the only solution from Verizon and LG was send the phone in and I'm without a phone for several weeks.
Because my phone is just out of warranty and I'm still in a year contract, my only other option is to pay for a phone outright. I just want to be sure there isn't anything further I can do before I break down and get a new phone.
After doing some research, I found that I should check the WiFi MAC and IP address we unavailable. I have tried to take steps to repair with MAC address an App called MacChange, but it doesn't seem compatible with my phone. Not sure if I am doing something wrong.
Does anyone have any solutions to repair a broken WiFi MAC address and IP?
Since my phone is only to stay on for a few minutes, is there a way to repair it with such a short amount of time?
Do you think all the issues involved would create all the problems my phone is having?
