My samsung s5 (SM-G900F) will not take any charge. This happened yesterday I think. I put it to charge before going to bed, and when I woke up, it had only 7% power. When I put the charger in, It only gets to a screen which shows a battery with a thunderbolt on it, as if indicating it needs to be charged. This screen does not appear if I just press the powerbutton. Here is a video of how it behaves: www . youtube . com/watch?v=Tp1hO7OImFQ
I cant figure out what is going on, it is as if its recieving minimal amounts of power, enough to make it light up, but not enough to actually charge.
Things I have tried :
-Lifting the chargeplate inside the usb port on the phone
-Pressured air to remove any lint
-Using my friends charger
-Charging from the Computer
-Charging from the socket
-Removing the microSD card
I would try another battery, but I dont have another, and I dont want to buy one just to test...
Any suggestions and help would be greatly appericiated.
